So. On the day that the President deemed the continued aggression in Afghanistan a 'just war' while receiving his Nobel Peace Prize, Jefferson Mayday Mayday sent me the Loosers/Owl Xounds split seven-inch (Jefferson did the centerlabelartwork...) & some of his uber-groovy psychedelic prints. Various electric libertines & lostmindfreethinkers have like hooked me up w/ CD-Rs & shit but NEVER in my life has someone hit me off w/ a piece of black gold. & this fine recording is on Release the Bats too !!! hot diggity this is better than yellow grits & Kroger bacon.
But this is Jefferson Mayday Mayday we are talking about here. There isn't a more beautiful soul in the southeast. Everyone should meet Jefferson Mayday Mayday at least once. & i continually regret never gasin' up Betsey & making the few-hour-trip to Columbia SC to hang-out, vibe and stockpile fireworks.
